My daughter & I have been going here for years & have never had a bad experience. I love the small shop feel where you know everyone & they are always friendly. Kristina is awesome if you have a prom or special event for both hair & makeup!

Andrea has been cutting my hair for many many years and I LOVE her! She always knows just what I want! I get so many compliments on both my cut and color and it feels great! My daughter just got her first extensions and they look great! Everyone in the salon is very friendly and always cheerful! A trip to essentials salon is always a good time!
Can I just say I have been employed here at Essentials for 3 years and not to toot our horn but, toot toot because I absolutely love my coworkers and the talent we all have! This is my 3rd salon that i've worked in and it's definitely a charm. I admire all the hard work and dedication my coworkers possess, not to mention they're friendly. We are not your "catty" salon otherwise I wouldn't rave about it or be so proud to be apart of it. Xo
I especially like that Andrea employs people that are incredibly sincere and polite, and they take great pride in staying current with training and trends in styling. The shop is very neat and clean, and the price is reasonable.
I first met the owner Andrea when the business was on Liberty St. She gave me a great haircut then, and she gives me a great haircut now. I ALWAYS get compliments on the way my hair looks. I am so confident that Andrea and her staff are going to make me look my best that I will often simply sit in the chair and tell Andrea, "Cut it any way you like."
