Recently, i had to renew my CDL so i checked around to see if i could get another doctor to do it because i didn't want to use up an entire day just to get renewed. I ended going back to him since the new Federal laws regarding CDL renewals had kicked in and he was the cheapest doctor who provided paperwork for DMV. When i got to the office there was a woman who kept falling asleep but i assumed that she did it because it had been so early in the day. An hour and a half had passed since my appointment and finally one man and Dr. Scott came out of an examining room and they paused to talk even more before heading down to the appointment desk! When the gentleman finally came into the waiting room area, i was astonished to see that the woman who had been falling asleep was waiting for him! I am sure that it didn't take almost two hours to tell a patient about his check-up! Plus the blatant disregard that the two of them had for not only the gentleman's companion but also for me since the doctor was informed earlier that he had another patient in the waiting room.
Well, once he finally decided to come into my room, he acted like he was in a marathon and was so unfriendly towards me. This on top of him having me wait yet again for over an hour to get called in for a physical exam made me upset but i held it in because i knew that i would not be coming back to him for my next CDL renewal. I would rather pay the extra amount of money for a doctor listed under the Federal physicians allowed to handle CDL physicals and renewals as well as i will pick up my own DMV paperwork to have the doctor fill out! At least i know that i will not have to wait almost two hours to be seen only to be treated as if i was wasting the doctor's precious time by being in his office.

I guess since i didn't decide to be a part of the doctor's new program that wanted to start previously, i was of no importance to him.
I had been going to Dr. Scott since i obtained my CDL and in the beginning i thought that he was a pretty good. One thing that i didn't like was that he would have his patients (outside of the ones he was friends with) wait HOURS in the waiting room while he talked about unimportant health stuff with them. I am guessing at his conversation with them only because he did the same thing with me during his 'examination' with me! He talked about life, politics, his 'off-the-clock-aspirations' and more and i had to cut the conversations short because someone had to care about his patients still waiting to be seen in his office waiting room!
