I would highly recommend this center to families in the area. My son has been attending for two years and we've had nothing but positive experiences. The teachers, cook, director, and office manager all truly care about the children and treat them with love and respect. My son loves his teachers and everyone is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure his needs are being met. I have had experience with other centers in the area but they don't compare to Lakeview.
Both my son and daughter attended Lakeview @ Horizon from 5 months old till Kindergarten and we all had a wonderful experience! Both my children made lots of friends and loved their teachers, which made it easy to bring them every day! They also learned so much that it made me happy to send them there everyday! It's tough being a working mom but thanks to this wonderful group of teachers and staff, it was a lot easier!
I picked up my son and he had a bruise on his head. When I asked what happened, one of the teachers stated that they were short staffed, and the teacher that was watching everyone stepped out, and when she returned my son was crying. When I asked to speak to the teacher that was suppose to be in charge, everyone stated that she left for the day, as well as the director. I wanted to know at least why no one called to inform me that my son got injured. When I came on Monday, the director said nothing happened and they were NOT short staffed, and that he did not get injured at the daycare. Teachers should notify parents if their two year old got a head injury, no matter how small it is. Disjointedness with this daycare.
When we moved to NJ, Lakeview Horizon was the 1st school we looked at and my son automatically fell in love. From the 1st visit, to now a year later, he LOVES walking in the door at school and we absolutely are so grateful for the amazing care and learning opportunities he gets while he is there. In just a year he has learned so much and continues to grow everyday. The teachers & staff have become like family and we appreciate all they do for our son!
Would not recommend this place to anyone.
My daughter has been attending Lakeview at Horizon for just over a year now and we have had nothing but an amazing experience for this past year. The entire staff is so caring, loving and sweet towards the children-in fact my daughter cries for her teacher when she is upset at home. I would highly recommend this center to anyone. It is extremely clean, organized and they provide a wonderful environment for young children.
